Turnout at PokerStars WCOOP 2009 main event has gone beyond the guaranteed 10 million offered by PokerStars with 2,144 entries received despite being slightly less than last year’s event which saw 2,185 entries, contestants will now compete for their share of a massive $10.7 million prize pool with the WCOOP main event winner set to receive $1.7 million provided no deals are made on the final table with all those making the final table getting a minimum of $96k a piece for the two-day long event, a second place finish at PokerStars WCOOP pays $1.28 million this year.
