The 40th Annual World Series of Poker 2009 takes place between 27th May till 15th July with the remaining top 9 players going through to the Main Event which is set for 7th – 10th November 2009. The overall cost of entering each event is $295,500. All 57 event winners will be awarded with a WSOP gold bracelet which is the highest achievement of any poker player career. The 11th annual Aussie Millions Poker Championship takes place between the 9th – 26th of January 2009 at the Melbourne Crown Casino in Australia.
