2013 wsope main event winnerThe 2013 WSOPE Main Event winner is 19 year old Spanish player Adrian Mateos, Team 888poker’s latest member.

Mateos battled it out heads-up with Fabrice Soulier for more than four hours to defeat the french player in his own country.

This is the third bracelet won by a Team 888poker player throughout the WSOPE series.

There will be three $2,000 Gold Bracelet Freerolls to celebrate Team 888poker victories at the World Series of Poker Europe 2013.

JC Tran will represent 888poker as the chip leader at the 2013 WSOP Main Event on 4-5 November.

daniel negreanu wins 6th wsop braceletDaniel Negreanu wins 6th WSOP Bracelet and the Player of the Year title in the final event of the Europe series, 2013 WSOP Europe High Roller Event.

Negreanu just needed to make the final table of the High Roller Event to claim his 2013 POY title and managed to win the tournament and his 2nd WSOP bracelet for 2013.

This is Negreanu’s second WSOP player of the Year title, his previous title was won in 2004 a decade ago.

Negreanu started out on the final table with the lowest chip stack and found himself head-ups verses Brazilian player, Nicolau Villa-Lobos.

The Main Event attracted a playing field of 6,352 players, the total prize pool amounted to more than $59 million dollars with a first place prize of $8,3 million.

The tournament will run until 15 July 2013, and continue playing until only 9 players remain. The November Nine will return for the WSOP 2013 Main Event final table on 4-5 November.
