poker hall of fame 2015The two WSOP Poker Hall of Fame 2015 members are John Juanda and Jennifer Harman who will join the list of 50 members who held the prestigious title.

Both Harman and Juanda are well deserving of the title as they have been valuable players to the poker scene for many years. They were nominated by public vote and selected from the list of nominees by the panel of judges.

The Poker Hall of Fame 2015 induction ceremony is scheduled for November 6 and will take place at Binion’s Gambling Hall in Las Vegas.

2014 World Series of Poker Main Event Day 2The 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event Day 2 a/b/c have been completed with the surviving 1,864 players going through to Day 3.

The current chipleader is none other than the legendary Phil Ivey who has been dominating since 2014 WSOP Main Event Day 1 c where he finished the day in 2nd place.

Players from Day 2 a/b will be combined with the remaining players Day 2c for more action on Day 3 of the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Some big names have already been eliminated at this stage and have lost the opportunity to win the dream prize of $10 million guaranteed for first place prize.

poker all time money listThere have been some changes to the Poker All Time Money List in 2014, some poker pros have had a successful start to the year cashing at the 2014 Aussie Millions.

Phil Ivey has moved up from 6th place to 2nd place after his biggest tournament win in the 2014 Aussie Millions $250,000 Challenge.

Still topping the Poker All Time Money List is Antonio Esfandiari who’s biggest win was the million dollar buy-in 2012 WSOP The Big One for One Drop.

Daniel Negreanu is also hot on the heels of Phil Ivey with only a few dollars behind in tournament earnings in 2014, both players having success at this years Aussie Millions.

2011 wsopThe 2011 WSOP Main Event is underway, this year there have been 6,865 registered players with most of the players registering on the last two days. The total prize pool is set at more than $65 million with a decent $8,7 million for the Main Event Champion.

phil hellmuth wsopPhil Hellmuth has another 2nd place finish in the 2011 WSOP, this time it’s not John Juanda preventing Hellmuth from winning his 12th WSOP bracelet. In Event #33: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship, Hellmuth managed to survive a tough playing field of 168 players and was eventually defeated Heads-up against Eric Rodawig.

Phil Hellmuth misses his 2nd attempt at winning a bracelet at this years World Series of Poker, although we have only reached the half way mark of the 58 events in the series. So far Hellmuth has cashed more than half a million dollars for his two 2nd place finishes, not bad even though he hasn’t won Gold yet.
