aapn 888pokerThe AAPN approved for Multi-State Poker in US, the All American Poker Network have been the first online poker network to get approval to operate as Multi-State Poker network.

AAPN will be the official network provider for Caesars Interactive Entertainment and Treasure Island which will combine players from Nevada and Delaware. As previously reported Delaware Poker Joins Nevada for Shared Players to help boost the poker traffic in both states, a deal was struck between Nevada and Delaware governors Brian Sandoval and Jack Markell earlier this year.

The All American Poker Network is powered by 888 poker who offer the official poker software for the WSOP online poker room and soon to be released Treasure Island poker site.

The Nevada Gaming Commission gave approval for the AAPN to share it’s players with Nevada and Delaware and possibly opening the door for other states to be added in the near future.

pokerstars merger amayaPokerStars Merger Amaya – Rumors of a possible merger with the largest poker site and Amaya Network have been circulating this week.

Amaya Network have responded to the recent 30% increase of trading shares and potential merger with PokerStars.

The merger would see PokerStars entering the regulated US market under a new name or company as a loophole around the bad actor clause. PokerStars have failed to receive approval to operate in New Jersey, Nevada, Delaware and California.

The largest online poker site was suspended for up to 2 years for operating after the 2006 UIGEA came into law, preventing PokerStars from getting any US poker player action since Black Friday.

PokerStars Merger Amaya Responds to Rumours

pokerstars nj suspendedPokerStars NJ license application has been suspended by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and will not be reconsidered unless drastic changes take place.

The major concern is Isai Scheinberg, the founder of PokerStars still having a federal indictment against him for violating the UIGEA of 2006.

PokerStars, the largest online poker site will be suspended for at least two years while the accused executives are still affiliated with the company.

New Jersey has received the most traffic out of the three regulated American states: Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware.
