There have been some changes to the WSOP Main Event Payout Structure 2015, instead of the previously advertised $10 million guaranteed first place prize the event will now payout the top 1,000 places.

After a survey conducted by the World Series of Poker results showed that more players were in favor of a flatter payout structure than a top heavy guaranteed prize.

There will be more players cashing in the Main Event than ever before in the history of WSOP. The top 15% of the playing field will now reach the money positions.
