The WSOPE Oktoberfest tournament attracted 2,144 players and generated over a million Euro prize pool, the 2015 WSOPE Main Event is scheduled to take place on 18 October.
The European poker tournament series is perfectly timed to run at the same time as the popular Oktoberfest beer festival in Germany.
