Five years after Black Friday we have finally received a Howard Lederer Apology Statement to the poker community for the Full Tilt Poker saga.

The apology comes shortly after the Full Tilt merger with PokerStars last week, players are now playing on the PokerStars network with thousands of players online.

Howard’s sincere apology seems genuine as he has had time to reflect on his actions and how he let down the entire poker community. The Howard Lederer files, a series of video interviews by PokerNews seemed to upset players more with his smug attitude and denial of wrong doing.

Maybe he plans to return to the live poker circuit releasing a statement just before the 2016 World Series of Poker.

Full Tilt End Game the final chapter of the once popular online poker software comes to an end on May 17 with the FullTilt Merger with PokerStars.

The Full Tilt Poker software will be retired this week when the player database of Full Tilt merges with the PokerStars platform.

Traffic had dwindled considerably since Amaya Gaming acquired the platform in 2012 probably due to the bad reputation the site gained from Black Friday.

After the merger FullTilt will be a poker skin on the PokerStars network sharing the same software and player pool. The change will make it easier for Amaya to update one platform and enter regulated poker markets under a single license.
