Carbon Poker Blocks US Players
This temporary ban on USA players will not affect players who have already signed up, CarbonPoker are battling to cope with the amount of new players signing up, the network has gained a 76% increase in traffic within the first month following the poker room indictments.
CarbonPoker decision was made in the best interest of the players so they can still offer support and services to the thousands of new players who have signed up. Carbon Poker will continue to accept new USA Poker players after a 4-6 week waiting period while they find ways to best deal with the surge in poker traffic.

Carbon Poker US Player Ban Temporary
Carbon Poker are not planning to stop serving the US Market, but instead preventing new US players from signing up for the next few weeks while they improve their resources to handle the recent surge in traffic since Black Friday. Players who have already signed up can still continue to play poker online at CarbonPoker, this policy will not affect any of the worldwide or USA Poker players who are already playing on the Merge Network.
Since Black Friday Carbon Poker has become the biggest USA Poker Room allowing US players to play poker online, with a surge in poker traffic up to 76% in May. The traffic simply migrated to the Merge Network when the top three online poker rooms (PokerStars, FullTiltPoker and UB Poker) were forced to ban US players.
This is not great news for USA Poker players who are still looking for an alternate poker site where they can still play poker online. The choices have been limited even more with DoylesRoom.com seized by the FBI/DOJ and Carbon Poker temporary ban on USA players.
