Sheldon Adelson could lose gaming license for Las Vegas Sands casinos due to allegations of ties to organised crime in Macau.

The tables have turned for the multi-billionaire Las Vegas Sands CEO as he is set to face charges in Nevada court which include: bribery and links to criminal activities.

Last Friday judge Elizabeth Gonzalez ruled that the hearing would take place in Nevada, the case has been pending for more than five years.

Adelson will have to provide answers to his ties with Cheung Chi Tai, a junket rep and known triad crime figure that brought high rollers to Adelson’s Macau casinos.

888 Holdings have announced the possible acquisition of bwin.party in a statement released on the 18th May. A proposal has been sent to bwin.party with an offer that would benefit both companies including the shareholders.

888 Holdings would then takeover the entire bwin.party and it’s shareholders will receive either cash or shares in 888 Holdings in compensation.

A merger of the two companies would secure the 2nd place position of 888poker and add at least a thousand cash game players to their daily poker traffic.

bwin.party have received the proposal and issued a statement that they are currently reviewing the proposal and an announcement will be released soon.

The WSOP Europe 2015 schedule has been released with ten events taking place at the Spielbank Berlin Casino in Germany.

The 8th edition of the World Series of Poker Europe features 10 bracelet events between 8th – 24th  October, 2015.

Popular tournaments like the Main Event and High Roller tournament are still the main attractions and will be televised on ESPN and Sport1.

New events include the Monster Stack tournament and the Oktoberfest a low buy-in tournament affordable for most players with a buy-in of €550.

Players from other countries can visit Germany for the 2015 Oktoberfest and play the WSOPE directly after making the trip even more memorable.

PokerStars have released the official trailer for KidPoker Daniel Negreanu Documentary which is currently in the works and will feature the story of one of the greatest poker legends of all time.

The official trailer for the KidPoker documentary has been released by PokerStars Original Films.

KidPoker Daniel Negreanu is the highest-earning tournament player of all time with six WSOP bracelets and two WPT titles.

KidPoker became a member of the WSOP Poker Hall of Fame in 2014 and has been a Team PokerStars Pro since 2007.

PokerStars have setup several ways for players to donate to Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund and help aid thousands of people who were affected by the disaster.

PokerStars have partnered with CARE International and will be donating the funds through their Helping Hands charity programme. CARE requires urgent support in order to provide more than 100,000 people with shelter, food and water.

Poker players can help raise funds by donating any amount using their poker bankroll, PokerStars will be donating the same amount that their players raise.
