Known as the bad boy of poker, Mike Matusow was nicknamed “The-Mouth” as he has a reputation for talking trash at the poker table and often losses control known as a “Mike Matusow Blow-up” or “Mike-Matusow Meltdown”.
Matusow paid one third of Scotty Nguyen’s entry into the 1998 World Series of Poker for a satellite event into the $10,000 no limit Texas hold ’em main event. Nguyen went on to win the title and gave $333,333 to Matusow for his stake.
