2015 WSOP Main Event Day 1CThe 2015 WSOP Main Event Day 1C has had a record-breaking number of players registered in any of the starting flights in the WSOP Main Event history. There were an extra 3,963 players registering for the last starting day by the time registration had closed.

The total playing field amounted to 6,420 registered players in the World Series of Poker Main Event with the total prize pool adding up to $60,348,000.

Martin Jacobson, 2014 WSOP Main Event Champion started the day announcing “Shuffle Up and Deal!”

There were many notable players choosing to play on Day 1C, we’ve included a list of eliminations and chip counts of some of the players who survived the day. By the end of the day the 2015 WSOP Main Event Day 1C chipleader is John Gorsuch who will start Day 2 with the biggest stack.

The 2014 WSOP Player of the Year, George Danzer was honored for his achievement with a banner in the Brasilia Room, he also started the day announcing “Shuffle Up and Deal”.

The last and Main Event of the World Series of Poker is currently underway at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas with a total of 2,457 players registered on the first two of the three starting days.

Hamid Feiz is the overall chipleader at the end of 2015 WSOP Main Event Day 1B which had a list of notifiable players either eliminated or surviving the day.
