The World Series of Poker have decided to continue the WSOP Tournament of Champions event, which is possibly the biggest freeroll tournament ever with a million dollar prize pool. The Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth is doing very well in the World Poker Tour – Bay 101 Shooting Star he has made the final table and is currently 2nd of the six players that remain in the event.

If Hellmuth wins this event it will be the first WPT title he has ever won, although he does have 11 WSOP bracelets and more than $11 million in tournament earnings to his name. Hellmuth admitted in his blog that he has had a bad year of poker in 2009 where he actually lost money.

This is a good start to the year for Phil Hellmuth and we wish him luck today on the final table.
