Full Tilt Poker funds will soon be returned to their rightful owners after almost three years since Black Friday.

More than 30,000 USA players are expected to have their funds returned according to a tweet by John Pappas of the Poker Players Alliance.

All players with undisputed claims amounting to over $82 million will be reimbursed over the next few weeks.

The Department of Justice have approved the Garden City Group audit of players funds, however some players may need to resubmit their claims with the correct details as some claims were not correct or not completed.

All players will be contacted shortly by the GCG with the status of their payout and how to get their Full Tilt Poker funds returned.

The land of the free, American poker players have once again been the target of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) with the closing of the most trusted internet poker sites namely PokerStars, FullTilt Poker and UB in the USA.

The Poker Players Alliance is not taking this issue of infringing on Americans right to play online poker lightly, the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) is a nonprofit membership organization comprised of poker players and enthusiasts from around the United States who have joined together to speak with one voice to promote the game and to protect poker players rights.

The PPA have released an email requesting that all poker players who feel that their right to play poker online has been violated should stand together and fight back as the action taken by the DOJ should be viewed as nothing less than a declaration of war against poker and the people who play the game, players need to inform U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder about their disappointment with his decision to shut down trusted Internet poker sites in the USA plus remind Congress and President Obama that now is the time to pass sensible legislation that licenses and regulates Internet poker in America.

The PPA have set up a webpage with detailed instructions on what action you as a poker player can take to voice your concerns. This issue will not simply resolve itself, now is the time to take action !

Poker Players Alliance have declared this week National Poker Week in their efforts to legalize America’s favorite pastime.

Members of the PPA are in Washington this week to meet with elected US officials with a petition with more than 375,000 signatures requesting Barack Obama to legalize and regulate online poker and not deny US poker players the rights to play a skilled game on the internet.
