ippa championship tournamentThe International Poker Players Association championship tournament is going to be one of the biggest poker tournaments on the calender. The televised High-roller poker tournament has a buy-in of $250,000 and a prize pool of $12 million, the tournament is limited to a field of 48 players all competing for a first place prize of $5 million at the Monte Carlo Casino in December 2010.

So far the event has already attracted some of the High Stakes Poker pros including Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Tony G and Patrik Antonius.

WSOP 2012The WSOP 2010 November Nine is set in stone after a tiresome 5 hours and 45 minutes of play till Brandon Steven was eliminated in 10th place. Play will resume in November with the final table battling it out to determine the 2010 WSOP main event champion.
