Romania has submitted draft legislation to the European Commission detailing general provisions regarding the license to organise and the authorisation to operate games of chance for gaming operators looking to provide gambling in Romania.

The draft proposal includes detailed information for the regulations about online gambling within the Eastern European country.

Several modifications may still be required to be made due to amendments which were recently approved by the Romanian Parliament in addition to provisions made in OUG 92/2014.
