Phil Ivey is rated by many as the single best poker player in the world and he has proved them right once again by starting in sixth position in the chip count out of seven players on the final day’s play to go on to win the 2-7 Draw WSOP 2009 title.

Phil Ivey has never won a WSOP braclet for No Limit Hold em, with his highest finishing position being 5th place. In his career he has earned 6 WSOP bracelets for the following: Seven Card Stud,SHOE, PL Omaha, Lowball, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo and No-Limit Deuce to Seven Draw.
