Bodog Poker US players have been transfered over to the new Bovada brand which still offers players Sports, Casino, Poker and Horses. The change over will only affect USA poker players, the rest of the world can continue playing on the Bodog brand.

The new name Bovada is a combination of the words Bodog with Nevada, other changes include anonymous poker tables to prevent the sharks from abusing the recreational poker players. Poker tracking software and data-mining websites have also been blocked.

Existing BodogPoker US players will then be able to login to the new website using their username and password to access their player accounts and bankrolls.

Bodog Poker are currently working on an update which will be released before the end of 2011, the update will prevent poker tracking software and websites from gathering data, statistics and information. BodogPoker believe that players using the information are taking advantage of the casual poker players which often results in players not returning to the site.

Another big change which will affect their traffic, will be when Bodog Poker block USA Players at the end of the year when Bodog renew their gaming license they will no longer accept US players to play poker online at BodogPoker.

So next year we can expect to see Bodog Poker operating as a non USA Poker site with no option to use a poker hud or any software or website which used to mine data. Bodog Poker will stop accepting US players in 2012, the latest news is that BodogPoker plan to leave the US market when their gaming license expires at the end of the year. Bodog is a UK based company who have recently been approved for a UK gambling license.

While Full Tilt Poker servers still remains closed to the entire World, the hearing to re-instate their gaming license has been further delayed until September 2011.
