Fans of GSN’s popular high stakes poker show will be pleased to hear that plans are underway to begin the recording of a new season of the series, with new episodes of High Stakes Poker season 6 being taped from the beginning of October through to November in Las Vegas once key players return from WSOPE and EPT scheduled events. The main event coverage for 2009 begins soon which will provide the needed boost in ranking especially seeing the Tiger Woods of poker “Phil Ivey” making the final table this year.
The deal will provide viewers of ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPN-International and several other TV channels the chance to watch the World Series. ESPN have covered poker’s most prestigious event since 2003.

November Nine WSOP 2009 Updates – Only 27 players remain after day 7 after surviving a field of 6,494 players, they will all battle it out for the final table which only sees the Top 9 (November Nine) competing for the WSOP 2009 main event bracelet and title.
