Cake Poker WSOP 2012 Main Event Satellites StepsCake Poker have set up a step satellites tournament for entry into the WSOP 2012 main event the steps are set begin on the 5th April 2012 where entry into step 1 is $0.30 with the first final worth $10,000 being scheduled for 15th April 2012.

Cake Poker remains one of only a handful of poker sites where Americans are still allowed to play for real money.

Other interesting facts about Cake poker’s WSOP satellite qualifiers are that winners will be responsible for their own WSOP registration, accommodation and travel arrangements while in Las Vegas and that should the prize pool for the $10K Main Event Final tournament not reach $10,000, no $10K prize will be awarded and the prize pool will be paid out to the Players finishing in the top three places of the tournament.

Basically, Cake Poker will pay winning players $10,000 into their real money balance of their Cake Poker Account if the tournament prize pool reaches at least $10k but players need to arrange their transport, hotel and even make their own buy-in into the WSOP 2012.

This event sounds to me like a bit of a stretch of being a proper WSOP qualifier, but for those interested (perhaps USA players with existing Cake Poker accounts)  feel free to see the Cake Poker WSOP Main Event Satellites Steps schedule that continues below.

CakePoker accept players worldwide including USA Poker players. Get a 110% first deposit bonus up to $600 when using the CakePoker signup code when creating a new account.
