2014 wsop main event day 1The 2014 WSOP Main Event Day 1 a/b/c have been completed giving us a final amount of 6,683 registered players and total prize pool of $62,820,200.

Some records were broken for attendance with Day 1c being the largest starting field in history of the WSOP Main Event with 3,768 players registering on the last day.

More than half of the playing field has been eliminated at this point with about 3,300 players going through to Day 2.

Negreanu lost to Colman but his huge runner-up prize of more than $8 million has put the pro on top of the poker all time money list in 2014 passing Antonio Esfandiari.

WSOP Big One for One Drop 2014 winner Daniel Colman now has $18.2 million in total live career earnings and features in 6th place on the poker all time money list.

23 year old, Daniel Colman’s victory in the 2014 WSOP One Drop event which paid out more than $15,3 million for first place.

Four USA players, two Germans, two UK and a Canadian will be battling it out for the 2014 WSOP Big One for One Drop title and more than $15 million for first place.

Notable Poker Pro Eliminations on Day 2 include: Antonio Esfandiari (10th), Phil Ivey (14th) and Sam Trickett (15th).

Big One for One Drop 2014The Big One for One Drop 2014 – Day 1 has come to an end with some interesting results at the 2014 World Series of Poker where 48 players started out on Day 1.

Poker pros have realized that this life-changing million dollar buy-in event could boost their career earnings as it did for Antonio Esfandiari in the 2012 Big One for One Drop.

Day 1 saw the eliminations of 11 players who will not get any returns on their million dollar investment into the poker tournament most notably: Vanessa Selbst, Brian Rast and Jason Mercier.

The great thing about this event is that it is a charity tournament with 11% of the buy-ins being donated to Guy Laliberté’s One Drop Organization.

The current top 5 positions include: chip leader Sam Trickett, Tom Hall, Phil Ivey, Daniel Colman and title defender Antonio Esfandiari.
